6 of my favorite soundtracks

Something that I think is really underrated is movie soundtracks. I know that there are people who really enjoy movie soundtracks, but I still don't think that they get enough love. You take away the soundtrack from the movie and it changes the whole thing.

So I'm here today to give some love to 6 of my favorite soundtracks. While I will only link one song from each soundtrack, I still love the whole thing.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of my all-time favorite movies. The music is genius and the opening song conveys so much. From the majesty of Notre Dame to Clopin telling a simple tale with puppets. A wonderful movie and an amazing soundtrack.

The Book Thief

I can honestly say, without any doubt, that The Book Thief IS my favorite movie. Something that adds so much beauty to this already beautiful story is the music. I don't think that John Williams gets enough love for this particular soundtrack. Each track matches the scene perfectly and gives it even more depth.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

(I couldn't find any of the tracks on YouTube, but the soundtrack is on Spotify so I would definitely give it a listen!)

I love the book so much, and y'all, I know I've basically said the same thing for each one, but this soundtrack fits the movie PERFECTLY.

Poldark

I love this soundtrack to death. The almost gritty sounds blend perfectly with the rough Cornish scenery. Just hearing the different tracks sweeps you into the story. Whether you're at Wheal Leisure or going to confront a bunch of angry miners, this soundtrack is amazingly suited to the show. Just listening to it makes me want to go and rewatch it!!

Victoria

Just the first strains of the main theme give you chills. The track I linked above always makes me feel like I'm flying. Every piece in this amazing soundtrack adds tension along with the dialogue or makes your heart skip a beat as you squeal over your favorite ship.

The Crown

The Crown is a rather heavy show. Most of the colors are slightly muted, and it deals seriously with the different events in the early reign of Elizabeth II. The soundtrack matches that tone to a t. No sparkling pieces, but rather dark tracks with a hint of an electronic sound to add some more tension.

What are some of your favorite soundtracks? Are any that I named one of your favorites? Give me some recommendations! Also, look forward to an extra post this Monday!
