Well, I'm still alive and drowning in blog posts to catch up on.
I WILL READ ALL OF YOUR POSTS I PROMISE
And, y'all, I seriously meant to post last Sunday but I was at a sleepover and my friend (who was having the sleepover) was dropping everyone off at their houses. Except that nobody was home at my house (blame my brother's soccer) and so they dropped me off with another friend. And then my family stayed for dinner at my friend's house (the one I was dropped off at) And then you stir in some ice-cream, some ta-dans (Monica, lol xD) and we get home pretty late
*takes deep breath*
ANYWHO
LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD
LIFE
SCHOOL-WISE
I FINALLY TURNED IN EVERYTHING FOR THE FIRST SEMESTER

I'm only waiting for my Religion grade but so far I have all A's
VIOLIN-WISE
So we had a Music Festival thing yesterday where you get judged and if you make a 95 or higher you get to play at an honors recital. I made a 100 :DDD I was really surprised cause I thought I had totally butchered this shift to a high C but apparently not :D
DANCE-WISE
So I got my pointe shoes the day before the Superbowl. And that's been going pretty well. So has the rest of dance.
WRITING
ON PAPER
I've been getting a lot done in The Girl Who Learned To Love. And Victoria is HILARIOUS. HOMYGOSH. xD. Let me copy one of her scenes below.
Victoria paced in her room, forming a plan in her head. She wanted to take her friends to the nearby ice skating rink but her mom said that she needed to bring a chaperone. Which meant Marius. Borning Marius with his talk of "the classics". How was she supposed to get her popularity up with a brother like that? Unless. . .
She practically flew to her brother's room, flinging the door open. He was ready - like always - the Iliad. Victoria mentally rolled her eyes at his nerdiness.
"Marius!" she panted, "I need you to chaperone a group of my friends who I'm taking ice skating."
"Woah," Marius's voice was calm, "Was my sister abducted by aliens? I thought I wasn't 'cool' enough."
"Maybe Chandler can help you."
"Ah-ha! That's what you wanted."
"C'mon, Marius! Please ask her."
Marius sighed and put down the Iliad, pulling his phone out of his back pocket. Victoria squealed as he sent the message.
"I'm not promising anything," he said.
"I know, but at least you asked," Victoria sat on the bed.
"Are you going to wait here until she responds?"
"Yep."
"She could be in a meeting! Or class!"
"Then I'll wait." She took out her phone.
Seconds later Marius's phone pinged, and Victoria tackled him.
"What did you say? What did she say?" she cried eagerly.
"Chill. Just because someone texted me doesn't mean it's Chandler." He opened the message slowly to annoy his sister.
"What. Did. She. Say?" Victoria demanded.
"That she'll help and when and where to meet."
"Eep! Tell her to come to our house tomorrow at 5:30 and we'll all go together to the rink."
Victoria heard Marius sigh as she waltzed out of his room.
And I've noticed that a lot of my characters (coughmariuscough) throw books in this book....
ON THE COMPUTER
Um.....Nothing?? I gave up extra computer time for Lent so I haven't worked on The Moon....
EDITING
Same as above.........
READING
I loved them all! Y'all, the Siren is the cutest. Book. Ever. The one I actually didn't like (like, at all) was Duchessina: A Novel of Catherine de' Medici by Carolyn Meyer. Which is sorta sad cause I really liked her book Marie, Dancing
AND I BOUGHT FOUR BOOKS THIS MONTH (one is currently being shipped)
THE SCORPIO RACES
THE SIREN
CINDER
BLACK AS NIGHT
Black as Night is the one being shipped. I feel like I would have read more books this month (all of those books were read before Ash Wednesday, which was the 14th, SO WHO KNOWS WHAT I COULD HAVE DONE THE REST OF THIS MONTH) but I gave up library books also for Lent.
